The 2024 college basketball transfer window closed after a whirlwind 45-day period that saw thousands of prospects depart from their programs in search of new opportunities. Many of the most prized players in the cycle came off the board quickly as the nation’s best teams reshaped their rosters early in the offseason, but plenty of day-one starters and other impact players remain available. North Carolina, Tennessee, Auburn and other notable programs still have their eyes focused on the portal as these premier prospects seek landing spots.
A pair of top-10 transfers in center Great Osobor and small forward Jamir Watkins are still available, but the list of immediate starters goes much deeper. Time is ticking for programs to secure their talents, though.
National college basketball writer Isaac Trotter identified on The 247Sports College Basketball Show five teams that are still highly active on the transfer market and noted their top targets as they seek to put the finishing touches on competitive rosters for the 2024-25 season.
