The third “Deadpool” film, directed by Shawn Levy, centers on Reynolds’ Wade Wilson/Deadpool teaming up with Hugh Jackman‘s Logan/Wolverine for an epic adventure.

Their attempt to save Deadpool’s universe from extinction runs into a problem early on, after Mr. Paradox (Matthew Macfadyen) sends them to a wasteland called The Void.

Through a team-up with some notable Marvel characters, Deadpool and Wolverine are able to return to the titular merc’s universe and continue their mission. But they’re followed by 100 Deadpool variants from The Void, some of whom are played by members of Reynolds’ family, and a big fight sequence ensues.

Among the Deadpool variants is a female version called Ladypool, played by Lively. Ladypool is never unmasked, but she has a few speaking lines and Lively is listed in the credits.

Lively and Reynolds have four kids: Daughters named James, Inez, Betty, and Olin. Three of them have cameos in the movie.

In “Deadpool & Wolverine,” Ladypool has a baby, aptly titled Babypool, who is played by the couple’s youngest child, Olin. Lively and Reynolds’ eldest daughter, 9-year-old James, plays Kidpool and has a line in the film. Inez also has a small part as a screaming mutant.

Betty doesn’t have a role in the movie, but Reynolds recently told People magazine that she “sort of loves Hugh, like unconditionally.”

“And she expresses that love through unblinking violence,” Reynolds said. “So she attacks him, thinking she has claws and he has a healing factor — which he might.”

Reynolds also gave his family a shout-out at the New York premiere of “Deadpool & Wolverine” on Monday.

“I want to start by saying thank you to my wife Blake, who is here,” he said on the stage. “I want to thank my kids James, Inez, Betty, Olin, who are here: I hope that, if I’m lucky, this moment will be the most traumatic thing — that is, the contents of this movie — that happens in your wondrous life.”
