Amazon Prime Day, or Prime Big Deal Days, returns again next week. But if you can’t wait for the big deal bonanza, there are plenty of early deals you can score now. While some discounts are open to all shoppers, a few deals are already locked behind a Prime membership, just like the rest of the sale will be.
Some of my favorite early Prime Day deals include exclusive freebies for members, like three months of free Kindle Unlimited or four months of free Amazon Music Unlimited. These promotions will likely persist through Prime Day, but I recommend acting fast since there are no guarantees. Popular items like Crest Whitestrips and the new Amazon Echo Spot are also down to great low prices ahead of the event.

As a rule of thumb, it’s always better to wait for Prime Day to roll around before shopping. Though we’ve thoroughly vetted the above deals for quality, chances are, any discounts we see during the event will trump these.
However, with the Prime Day discounts comes the event’s hectic nature. Many deals, though technically better price-wise, are short-lived. Stock runs out, timers end, and before you know it, the deal is over. If you’re buying any of the early deals we’ve highlighted, you can spare yourself the rush and shop knowing that you’re picking up some of the best prices we’ve seen all year.
