The US Open comes to a thrilling conclusion with today’s men’s final. We’ve compiled everything you need to know about how to watch a Fritz vs. Sinner live stream, including a free option that you can watch from anywhere if you use a VPN to get around online geo-restrictions – more details below.

Italian World No. 1, Jannik Sinner, who won this year’s hard court Australian Open, enters Arthur Ashe Stadium as the favorite. He’s been in great form, getting past Medvedev and the USA’s Paul on the way to the final, so he won’t be afraid of the home crowd’s support for his next opponent. Taylor Fritz (who picked up a bronze in the men’s doubles at the Paris Olympics) is looking for his first Grand Slam and has had some hard matches to reach the final, with a tougher run than Sinner as he’s beaten Tiafoe, Zverev, and Ruud in the last three rounds. Expect a close match, possibly a long one, with an incredible atmosphere from Flushing, New York, in 2024’s final Grand Slam.

Whether you’re hoping to see Fritz become the first American man to win a Grand Slam title since 2003 or you’re rooting for Sinner to pick up his second Grand Slam, we’ll make sure you can tune in from anywhere. If you’ve been following the tournament over the past couple of weeks, most of the watch options are the same, with the exception of the US. We’ll detail that network change below.

How to watch Fritz vs. Sinner from anywhere for free

These handy tech tools let people change their virtual location so that they can still keep up with their usual apps, websites, and subscriptions from anywhere. How to watch Fritz vs. Sinner in the US

The US viewing option shakes up for the final. Instead of ESPN channels, the match will air on ABC. If you don’t have cable, an antenna, or your cable package recently lost ABC, you can still watch ABC via a live TV package like Sling TV or Fubo.

Sling is the cheaper option today, but the service’s local channel coverage (like ABC) is selective, so you should double-check to make sure your region can live stream the network before subscribing. Sling Blue is the way to go when it comes to local channels. The plan offers about 42 channels for $40 a month, but the service usually runs a promo that will give you about half off your first month, as seen in our streaming deals guide.

Sling TV Subscription

For just the essentials without any extra fluff, Sling TV is the streaming service you’re looking for. It’s more customizable than other plans, with three options you can choose from, so you pay for only what you need. New members get their first month for $25 off.

Fubo is another solid, sports-friendly option and places highly on our list of the best sports streaming services. The service carries broad ABC coverage and more than 180 other channels. Subscriptions are a bit more expensive, at $80 a month, but new customers can try out Fubo free for one week before they start getting billed.

Fubo Pro Plan

Fubo is the streaming service for sports fans. Its huge library of channels includes regional and international sports leagues, setting it apart from the competition. You can also tack on additional programming to your plan, but it’ll cost you extra.

How to watch Fritz vs. Sinner in the UK

Like the rest of the US Open, the men’s final will air on Sky Sports in the UK. Viewers can also live stream the Sky offerings via Now TV, which offers everything from single-day passes (£15) to monthlong plans (£35).

How to watch Fritz vs. Sinner in Australia

The men’s final is available for free through 9Now in Australia. Viewers just need to create a log-in if they don’t already have one, and then they’re all set to start live streaming. This has been an excellent option throughout the tournament and is the best option to tune into via a VPN (see above) if you’re looking for a free option overseas.

Note: The use of VPNs is illegal in certain countries, and using VPNs to access region-locked streaming content might constitute a breach of the terms of use for certain services. Insider does not endorse or condone the illegal use of VPNs.

Over the years, Brendan has written about a wide range of subjects. Be it covering game previews at GamesCom in Germany, listing the best Amazon Prime Day deals, reviewing gaming controllers, Kindles, and folding smartphones, or even international guides on buying a mattress – he’s still quite annoyed that the UK and US have different sizes and names for them. More recently, he’s been covering international How to Watch guides on various sporting events like Formula 1, tennis, Champions League, cricket, or the hottest new movies and TV shows.   Outside of work, you’ll find Brendan trying to make a dent in various watchlists across streaming apps or playing games on his Series X or PS5, usually downloading (hoarding) yet more Game Pass games or grumbling about how open-world games should be scrapped for a solid 10-hour experience like the Uncharted series.
